Getting Started 🚦

This package contains a template for a resume. The workflow is to edit metadata about yourself and then compile the template to a PDF. Simple! 😃

Usage 🛠️

The template is incredibly comprehensive. You probably won’t need all of the sections. Just choose the ones that are relevant to you. The template is also highly customizable, you can add additional sections through custom_sections. The sections of this template are compatible with the JSON Resume project. Here are the sections that are included in the template:

  • basics: Your name, email, phone number, and other basic information. 👤
  • work: Your work experience, including job titles, companies, and dates. 💼
  • volunteer: Your volunteer experience, including organizations and dates. 🤝
  • education: Your education history, including degrees and institutions. 🎓
  • awards: Any awards or honors you’ve received. 🏆
  • certificates: Any certifications you’ve earned. 📜
  • publications: Any publications you’ve authored or co-authored. 📚
  • custom_sections: Any additional sections you want to include in your resume. 🧩

The template also allows you to customize rendering related information, such as the font, colors, and layout. Simply search for _render to see all the variables that are used to render the template.
